SEEKER OF INTERESTING STORIES

ONE HUMAN. MANY TALES.

Inside the life &
mind of Ambarish.

Marketer by profession. Curious by default.
A few side quests. An unreasonable amount of tea.

VOL. 01 / THE DAY JOB

First, a little context.

01

MEET THE MARKETER

Serious about the work.
Playful about the possibilities.

I’m Ambarish Ganesh. As a marketer, I connect the dots between an interesting idea and a campaign out in the world. Strategy, storytelling, execution - I like being there for the whole adventure.

THE PLOT, IN THREE ACTS

  1. 01

    Find the story.

The audience. The problem. The reason to care.

  2. 02

    Make it interesting.

Turn the strategy into an idea with a little personality.

  3. 03

    Make it happen.

Bring the campaign to life. Learn, refine, repeat.

Preferably over a cup of chai.

VOL. 02 / THE HOME TEAM

Four tickets. A thousand stories.

LA FAMILIA

My favourite
adventure crew.

At home, our little world is made up of me, my wife Ankita, and our two sons, Angad and Aayur. There's a certain joy we've found in the everyday chaos of home life. And whenever we step outside it, we love gathering new places, small discoveries, and stories worth bringing back with us.

Give us a good, safe path to walk, a fresh change of scenery, and enough room to wander off course now and then. The best chapters aren’t always on the itinerary.

Family trips: a masterclass
in adapting the plan.
VOL. 03 / THE SIDE QUESTS

Curiosity never clocks out.

05

ON THE SHELF & ON MY MIND

A good plot.
A better question.

Hand-scribbled shelf of books, film, cooking, tea and building bricks

My most recommended

Crime fiction for the twists. Marketing books for the ideas. Both help me understand what makes people tick.

06

WHEN A SHARED LOVE BECOMES A BRAND

Enter Booksom.

Ankita and I share a love of reading. We helped turn that love into Booksom - a boutique brand for people who love collecting bookish items, other than books.

Building something for fellow book lovers made the story tangible: from an idea to a brand people could hold.

SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED

One more brick.

LEGO is my kind of thinking/tinkering time. Start with a few pieces. Try a connection. Build something you didn’t see coming.

Yes, this counts as research.
08

Movie lover.
Occasional critic.

Crazy movie-buff here. My movie-review stint turned that after-film conversation into writing - pulling apart what worked, what didn’t, and why.

My most recommended

But first,
tea.

A fresh page. A new brief. A very long conversation about a very small detail.

Whatever the scene, a cup of piping hot ginger tea somehow tends to make an appearance.

Ideas brewing.
Please stand by.
